The Paxton/Spangler Band release a digital single, all proceeds to help Ukrainian people with medical supplies and humanitarian aid.

Recorded in March, of 2022, the Paxton/Spangler Band revisit a soul-jazz classic that was first recorded by guitarist Grant Green in 1969 on his album Carrying On, (Blue Note). The tune Cease the Bombing was penned by Neal Creque, his keyboard player at the time. Creque was born in the Virgin Islands and had a great career that included three records with Green, several with Mongo Santamaria, Leon Thomas, Pucho & His Latin Soul Brothers and others.

The idea is to raise awareness and some money for the people of Ukraine. The artwork was donated by Maddie Summers. lwr.org
